Swapped mayo for plain yogurt in my tuna salad and my kids actually ate it
I was out of mayo on Tuesday night and the kids were already asking for tuna sandwiches, so I grabbed a half cup of plain Greek yogurt from the back of the fridge as a panic move. I figured they would hate it, but my 9 year old said it tasted lighter and asked for seconds, which never happens with tuna. I did add a little squirt of mustard and some chopped pickles to hide the tang, and honestly I could not taste much of a difference after that. Now I am wondering what else I can sneak yogurt into without anyone noticing. Has anyone tried it in chicken salad or does the texture get weird?
