Why does nobody warn you that cheap desk risers are a trap?
I grabbed a $39 riser from a big box store in Austin to fix my slouch, and it wobbled so much my coffee tipped twice in a week. Turns out the legs were hollow plastic and the whole thing flexed every time I typed. Ended up spending $120 on a solid wood one from a local guy on Craigslist. Anyone else get burned by a flimsy riser before they found one that actually holds still?

Hollow plastic legs should be illegal, mine flexed so bad I gave up and stacked books instead.
