Showerthought: a guy at the Portland airport had a tray table setup that made me rethink my whole desk
I was waiting 4 hours for a delayed flight at PDX last month and the guy next to me pulled out this tiny folding stand, a clip light, and a lap desk all from one bag. He said he works remote 3 days a week and never uses a real desk anymore, just rotates spots around his apartment. Is that actually comfortable long term, or does the novelty wear off after a couple months?
Man, I did the whole roam around the apartment thing for about six months and my back was not having it by month three. It works great for a change of scenery here and there, but there's a reason people still buy actual chairs and desks.
