I spent two years chasing the perfect bloom and timing my pours with a scale, but last month I got sick of the 8 minute ritual before work and just started dumping grounds in the old drip machine. Honestly the cup tastes about 90% as good, and I want to know if anyone else here quietly gave up the fancy method or if I'm just lazy now.
