TIL my best fort week happened when I gave up on the living room and used my closet instead
Last Tuesday I spent 2 hours trying to build a fort in the living room but the couch kept eating my blanket corners. My roommate came home, laughed, and said the doorway was too wide for anything to hold. So I moved everything into my closet, wedged a broom handle across the top of the shelves, and draped 3 sheets off it. Best sleep of my life happened in there that night, honestly. The small space kept all the heat in and I read 80 pages of a book with just a camping lantern. Has anyone else figured out that tiny spaces beat big rooms for forts, or am I just bad at wide spots?
