Swapped clothespins for binder clips on my fort and the difference is huge

I used to use regular wooden clothespins to hold blankets to chairs but they kept slipping off with the slightest bump. Last week I grabbed a pack of 2 inch binder clips from the office supply aisle and they grip way tighter. The clips have these metal handles that let you pinch them open wider so they fit over thick blanket layers and chair backs. Has anyone else tried using something other than clothespins or what's your go to for keeping blankets secure?
