Just realized my weighted blanket weighs almost as much as my suitcase did on my last trip

I was packing for a weekend visit to my sister's place in Cleveland and grabbed my 15 pound weighted blanket to bring along for the couch naps. Then I checked my old luggage tag from a flight I took last spring and it said my checked bag was 16 pounds. So basically I've been hauling around the weight of a full suitcase every time I move this thing from the living room to the bedroom. It made me wonder if anyone else has a setup where the blanket is actually the heaviest thing they own, and do you have a better way to carry it around without feeling like you're doing arm day? My current method is just hugging it like a giant bear, which works but looks ridiculous.
