Unpopular opinion: the quietest client I ever had taught me more than the chatty ones
A woman sat in my chair for 45 minutes a few months back barely saying a word, just nodding when I asked about length and then going still. When I finished she looked in the mirror and said, "You actually listened instead of talking over me," and tipped me $40 on a $35 cut. Now I keep my mouth shut during the consult and just ask two questions, has anyone else had a client like that?
