The dirty brush situation in our salon is out of control
It's so annoying. Every time I go to use a brush, it's caked with old foundation. I have to spend extra time cleaning them before I can even start. This slows down my whole day. I wish people would just take a minute to wash them after use.

Ugh that's the worst... foundation brushes are the main offenders in my experience. They get that gross, stiff layer that ruins the bristles. Management should really enforce a clean-as-you-go rule because it's just basic hygiene.

A bit of old foundation doesn't hurt anyone. Speed matters more in a busy shop.

But what if the focus on clean brushes is missing the point? In a fast paced salon, clients care more about quick service than spotless tools. A bit of old foundation might not even change the color outcome for the next person. Forcing everyone to wash brushes right away could lead to rushed jobs and unhappy customers. The real goal should be getting people in and out with good results, not perfect clean tools. Sometimes a little mess is just part of the job.
