Unpopular opinion: our daily log app is making my supers worse at their jobs
We rolled out a log app on the Maple Street job in Boise and within two weeks my two supers stopped walking the site before 7am. They just sit in the trailer and fill out the form from memory, so a wet wall prep issue sat unfixed for three days until the inspector caught it. I told them the app is a record, not a replacement for eyes on the work, and now they have to snap a photo at each checkpoint before they can log it. Anyone else fighting this with their crew, or did you just go back to paper?
