My punch list tracker hit 1,000 items closed and I just sat there in the truck
So I pulled up my tracking app this morning before walking a job in Columbus and it said 1,012 items closed. I know that sounds like no big deal to some folks but when I think back to my first super job in 2009, we were doing punch lists on paper clipboards and half of them got coffee spilled on them or lost in a truck. I used to spend my whole Friday nights retyping scribbled notes into a spreadsheet, and the boss would still find stuff we missed. Now the field guys snap a photo on their phone, tag the location, and it lands in the app before they even leave the floor. The thing that really got me was seeing that 1,012 number and realizing maybe 200 of those would have fallen through the cracks the old way. We had one elevator lobby at a project off Bethel Road that took us six weeks to close out back in the day. What's the milestone number that surprised you, like a count of closed tickets or RFIs that finally made you see how far your process has come?
