Drone battery trick saved my whole inspection schedule last Friday

I was out on a job in Tacoma and my drone kept dying after 9 minutes of flight, way shorter than the usual 25. Turns out the cold was killing the cells because I'd been storing the batteries in my truck bed. I started keeping them in a cheap insulated lunchbox with one of those hand warmer packs, and I got the full flight time back. Has anyone else found a low-tech fix for their equipment that beat the manufacturer's solution?
