Quote from a broker changed how I load

I was waiting at a yard in Denver last month and overheard a dispatcher tell a driver, "you're hauling the trailer, not the machine." It got me thinking about how many guys overload the front axle just because the excavator fits. I started paying more attention to weight distribution on my last three hauls and it made backing into tight spots way easier. Has anyone else adjusted their loading after a conversation like that, or is it just me?
