Found out the average lowboy trailer is only 48 feet long, and I had been guessing 53 for years
My dispatcher pulled up the spec sheet for our 2021 Fontaine lowboy in the shop last Tuesday and I just stood there staring at it, because I have been telling new guys 53 feet every single time they ask how much deck we have to work with.

Always figured lowboys were 53 too and never bothered to check. Seeing the actual spec sheet would've thrown me off the same way. Guess thats what happens when you just pass down what you heard instead of looking it up.
