Dropped $620 on a wireless trailer scale and I'm still fighting with myself about it
I haul a CAT 305 mini excavator around Ohio and got tired of guessing at weights, so I bought a wireless scale setup for about $620 last month. One side of me says it paid for itself the first time I avoided an overload ticket at a scale house near Columbus, and the other side says I'm just paying for a gadget when the loader at the pit gives me numbers for free. Curious if you all trust an onboard scale or still run everything over a CAT scale before a long trip.
