Spent 5 hours arguing about the moon landing flag with my brother in law in Tucson
We were at a family cookout in Tucson last month and he brought up the flag waving thing, and I figured I would just show him the air force explanation and we would be done in 10 minutes. Five hours later we are still going, and by the end he is pulling up a 1978 book he ordered on his phone while I am trying to find the actual NASA footage timestamp. Your mileage may vary but I think these debates go way past the point where facts even matter, it turns into a pride thing. Has anyone found a way to cut one of these arguments off early without it turning into a fight?
