Just had a huge argument about secret menu items being a conspiracy. Anyone have the scoop?
My buddy claims some restaurants hide cheaper ingredients in off-menu dishes. That sounds like a wild theory to me. Where can I find real discussions or proof about this?

Totally agree with you, @harris.luna. That tracks for so many places. They just want to make a normal thing feel special so they can charge a bit more for it. The whole "secret menu" or "blended differently" trick is such a classic move. It costs them nothing but makes customers feel like they're in on something.
