The pump truck operator changed my whole finish game
I spent 2 years fighting low spots on big pours, then a guy named Sully in Tucson told me to screed wetter and backroll before the bull float, swear it cut my patch work by half. That was 3 weeks ago and I've done 4 slabs since, anyone else get told something so obvious it made you mad?

Aw man, that's the kind of tip that makes you wanna kick yourself, right? I had a similar thing with a finisher who told me to stop pulling the bull float dry, I was basically polishing the high spots before they even set. Once I started keeping it flatter and wetter, my big slabs came out way smoother, less time fixing stuff after.
