Got told my broom finish was too rough on a job site last spring

I was working a driveway in Orlando and the homeowner said the texture felt like sandpaper on their dogs paws. That criticism stung at first but I switched from a push broom to a soft bristle brush for the final pass. Now I do a light drag with a mag float before brooming to get a smoother result. Has anyone else changed their finishing technique based on customer feedback?

That mag float trick cuts down the bristle marks big time.

Yeah, that trick is a game changer for sure. I tried it on my last pour and noticed way less cleanup work. Your mileage may vary, but it's worth a shot.
