Bought a $400 power trowel for a 12x12 slab and my arms regret it

I had a small shed slab job in Austin last weekend and figured a walk behind trowel would save my back. I dropped $400 on a used one at the flea market on Saturday and hauled it out to the site. The thing was so heavy I could barely get it off the truck and it dug a trench in the wet concrete on my first pass. I ended up finishing the whole 12x12 by hand with a magnesium float and the trowel is now sitting in my garage. Has anyone actually made a power trowel work on small residential slabs, or should I just sell it?
