The thermal paste tube that ended up in my work bag still haunts me
I spent 20 minutes at a client site in Austin trying to figure out why their Dell kept overheating, turned out I left a half-used tube of Arctic Silver in my bag and it leaked on my phone. I think we all get lazy with carrying spare parts and forget they can ruin your gear. Has anyone else had a random spill or mess mess up their tools mid-job?

honestly bought one of those little zip pouches for cables and paste and stuff after my thermal paste incident, now everything goes in there first. saved my laptop at least twice since then, it's pure chaos if you just toss stuff in a bag loose.
