Stopped reinstalling Windows on every slow machine, ran one 30 second check first and saved myself a full day
Customer brought in a Dell that took 4 minutes to boot and I almost wiped it, but crystaldiskinfo showed the drive at 98% health and the real problem was 12 startup apps from some coupon toolbar. Ran a free startup manager, disabled the junk, machine boots in 22 seconds now. Anyone else got a quick check they do before nuking a drive?
