Shoutout to the Milwaukee cordless angle grinder that didn't quit on me during a tough hull clean in Tampa Bay last Thursday
The battery died right as I was finishing the last section, so I had to surface-swap it in a stiff current, but it fired right back up and got the job done without a trip back to the boat.

Ok but like, how tough was this hull clean really. Sounds like a normal battery swap to me, that's just what cordless tools do.

Wait, didn't you see that video where the whole tool seized up from salt water? I heard you gotta take apart the whole gear case sometimes, not just pop in a new battery lol.

Yeah that video was brutal, the whole gearbox looked like a salt lick. Not exactly a quick fix with a fresh battery pack. More like a full teardown and a prayer that the motor isn't toast.
