My pull list hit 11 books in the same Wednesday drop and my wallet felt it
Two Wednesdays back I walked into my shop in Portland and the new release wall had Saga, Something is Killing the Children, and about nine other titles I follow, all landing on the same day. I budget $40 a week for singles and blew past it by lunch, then had to skip my usual burrito spot to make rent math work. What made it stand out was realizing my pull list had quietly grown from 5 books to 11 without me noticing, mostly because I kept adding #1s I never dropped. Now I'm going back through and cutting anything I can't remember the plot of. How do you all decide when to drop a title you're only half into?
