My grinder died mid-pour at 6:45am and I had to finish the brew with a rolling pin
The burr on my 4 year old grinder just quit on a Tuesday morning with a full hopper of Ethiopian beans, so I did what any half awake person would do and smashed them in a ziplock with a rolling pin, which turned out so uneven that the cup tasted like both sour tea and burnt toast at the same time, and now I'm wondering if anyone has a backup plan that doesn't involve a hammer.
