Unpopular opinion: air guns are fine for most jobs, skip the backlash
I used to swear by manual deburring tools until a shop near Toledo put me on a production run of 400 brackets last spring. The foreman handed me an air pencil grinder and said "quit fighting it," and I hated every minute for the first day. Then I realized I was finishing parts in half the time with burrs that actually looked cleaner than my hand work. I still keep a carbide scraper for tight corners, but anyone telling you air tools are only for lazy setups needs to run a big batch themselves. Has anyone else switched methods after a specific job forced the issue?
