Chip conveyor jammed my spindle, coolant everywhere

Ran a new aluminum job yesterday with the chip auger on full speed, and it packed up so hard the coolant backflowed into the spindle housing... took me 3 hours to strip and clean. Anyone else fighting stringy aluminum chips, or is it just me and this older Haas?
