Swapped my gas mower for a push reel one this spring and my Saturdays feel totally different
Bought a $90 reel mower off a guy in Ferndale back in April after my old gas one died, and I figured I would hate it. Turns out the reel cuts cleaner, I don't smell like fumes afterward, and I haven't bought a drop of gas since. My yard is small, maybe 900 square feet, so it takes me 25 minutes instead of 15, but I actually look forward to it now instead of dreading it. Anyone else make the switch, and did you keep the gas one around for the thick stuff in fall?
