For 4 years I grabbed a pack of 24 bottles at the store on my way to the trail near my place in Sacramento, and never once did the math on it. Then a cleanup crew at the American River last Saturday showed me a pile of my own brand bottles pulled out of one mile of bank, and I felt sick. What's the actual best swap for someone who hates washing dishes, a filter pitcher or just a hose and a reusable?
