Old timer at a supply house in Bangor told me I was running my brush wrong and I've been doing it backwards for 12 years
He said pull down in short strokes so the soot falls into the firebox instead of piling up on the smoke shelf, and my shop vac hasn't clogged once since. Any of you switch to a different stroke after someone called you out on it?
