My rule on animal nests in chimneys isn't up for debate.
Had a client with swallows nesting in their flue. They pushed me to clear it out for a party next weekend. I said no because it's breeding season and against the law. They got angry and tried to pay me double. I left and called the local animal control instead.

Good call, I once turned down a job because raccoons were in an attic during baby season.
