Tony, who ran the crew out of Albany for 14 seasons, said ash vacuums up fine and a drop cloth just slows you down, but after re-vacuuming three living rooms and a cream rug in 2022 I went back to laying canvas on every sweep, and I want to hear from anyone who actually makes the no-cloth thing work without a single complaint.
