Spent $180 on a fancy plating tweezers set, barely use them now

Last month I got talked into a titanium plating tweezers set at a supply show and they sit in my drawer while I still grab my old bent ones from culinary school. Anyone else drop serious cash on tools that sounded great but just never clicked in your hands?

Sell them on ebay while they still look new and buy a cheap backup set.

Ha! That's one way to look at it, @taylor.hayden. Though my luck with selling stuff online means they'd probably get "lost in the mail" right after I ship them out. Then I'd be stuck with a cheap backup set AND no money, which feels like the worst of both worlds. But hey, at least the cheap ones won't hurt as much when I drop them in a puddle on day three. Maybe I should just wrap the new ones in bubble wrap and never actually use them, you know, like a museum piece.
