Bagel cart guy in Philly called me out at 7 AM

Last Tuesday I grabbed my usual sesame bagel from the cart on 15th and Market. The guy, Lou, says 'you look tired, rough night?' I muttered something about work stress. He hands me a free coffee, says 'everyone's got a Monday, even on a Tuesday.' That little chat changed my whole day. Anyone else get a random kindness from a stranger that stuck with them?

Last year a barista at Starbucks wrote "you got this" on my cup and I still think about it on bad days.
