Hot take: my 3 inch seam iron scorched a Berber seam in Plano, and I had to cut it back out
Last Tuesday on a 12 by 18 job in Plano, my old seam iron got stuck on high and left a brown scorch mark right on a Berber seam before I caught it. I let it cool, trimmed out the burnt rows with a row finder and hooked the seam back together, but it cost me 45 extra minutes and a strip of scrap. What heat setting do you run on Berber seams so this does not happen to you?
