My old boss told me to stop scribing every cabinet and I fought him on it for 2 years
He kept saying "you only scribe the ones that need it, you're adding an hour per box for nothing" and I told him he was nuts, that a wavy wall in a 1920s house in Cleveland will eat you alive. Then last spring I finally ran a job doing it his way and finished 11 base cabinets in a day and a half instead of three days, and the only filler strip I needed was on one corner by the door. How do you all decide when a wall is actually bad enough to scribe versus just cheating the reveal?
