Appreciation post: a client told me my miter saw was making all my cuts proud, so I finally got a decent square
She pointed at a 1/16 inch lip on her new window sill and said it looked rushed, which stung but was fair. Now I check every cut with a $12 speed square before glue up, and my joints have been dead tight on the last 4 jobs, so what do you all use to catch that stuff early?

Man, I heard a guy on a podcast say he squares up every cut too, guess it's just the way.
