TIL my boss was in the room when I accidentally called the new project 'doomed' on a Zoom call.
I was working from home in Austin last Tuesday and thought I'd muted myself during a big team meeting, but my mic was hot when I said that to my roommate, and I had to spend the next hour in a one-on-one explaining my actual concerns about the timeline.
