My ferry to Victoria got canceled, ended up exploring a random farmers market instead

The 11:30 AM sailing from Tsawwassen was canceled due to wind last Saturday, and after standing in line for 45 minutes I wandered two blocks over and found a small market selling fresh honeycomb and kettle corn, has anyone else had a canceled trip lead them to something they never would have found otherwise?
