My entire group bailed on a concert in Philly last minute

I was already downtown with the ticket when three texts came through saying they all had food poisoning from the same taco truck. Ended up going alone and a stranger in line gave me a free glow stick, which honestly made the night. Anyone else ever have a solo adventure turn out surprisingly good?

Honestly I used to hate doing stuff alone, like I'd just skip it if friends bailed. But one time I got stuck seeing a movie solo and ended up talking to the person next to me about it after, it was so fun. So now I get it, those random little moments make it worth it. And yeah @ellis.leo, that taco truck story does sound pretty fishy now that you point it out. Maybe they just chickened out.
