My anniversary dinner got canceled because of a flat tire, best thing that happened all month

We were all dressed up to go to that fancy Italian place downtown, but my wife's car had a nail in the tire right as we were leaving. Ended up ordering pizza and watching a dumb comedy on the couch, and honestly I laughed harder than I have in weeks. Has anyone else had a canceled plan turn into a better night?

I used to be all in on the "just call roadside" mindset too, honestly. But then I got stuck on a busy freeway shoulder for two hours with my hazards on and no cell signal, and it completely flipped my view. It's not about the money or the fancy dinner, it's just that being stranded even for a little while makes you realize how much simple stuff usually just works.
