I got told my app's sign-up flow was confusing for older users in a focus group in Halifax.
After hearing that feedback, I simplified the whole process from 5 steps to just 2 and saw a 20% jump in completed registrations from that age group in the first month, has anyone else had to redesign for a specific demographic?

That "confusing for older users" line is so real. I used to think more steps meant more control, but simplifying things like you did totally changed my mind.

Wasn't there a study about how older users really hate tiny text? I read that they prefer bigger buttons and way less text on screen at once. So I made all my click targets huge and cut the word count in half, and it helped a ton.
