That $180 ultralight camp stove melted my pot on day two
I grabbed this slick titanium stove from a shop in Denver last spring because it weighed almost nothing and the reviews were glowing. First real trip at Rocky Mountain National Park, the flames flared way wider than the burner, warped my cheap aluminum cookset, and ruined dinner before the wind even picked up. Has anyone else found those micro stoves workable, or am I stuck carrying a heavier burner for good?

That “glowing” review streak is exactly why I grabbed one too, but I gotta say I’ve had the opposite luck with mine. I run mine on low with a proper windscreen and a wider pot, and it’s been solid for over a year without warping anything. Sounds more like a burner shape or fuel pressure issue than the whole micro stove idea being broken.
