That camera fair in Portland had some real junk passing as vintage
Hit the swap meet at the Expo Center last Sunday and watched a guy try to sell a beat-to-hell Pentax K1000 with a stuck mirror for $300. The shutter curtain had holes you could throw a cat through. I told him it needed at least $150 in parts and he looked at me like I insulted his kid. This is exactly why people think repairs are a scam. Has anyone else walked a show recently and wanted to hand out business cards to buyers before they get burned?
