Paid $150 for a battery-powered crimper and it was a total waste of cash

I bought one of those Klein battery crimpers thinking it would save my hands on a big job. Used it for 3 days and the batteries died after like 20 crimps each. The thing is heavy and awkward to get into tight spots too. I went back to my old manual ratcheting crimper and finished the rest of the job faster. Has anyone else had better luck with a different brand? I'm thinking about returning this one.

Same here @ray_campbell46, it's like everything now is made to break just so they can sell you another one.

Totally! I switched back to a manual one and never looked back.

Yeah I feel you man, I fell for the exact same hype on those battery crimpers. Bought one thinking it'd be a game changer but it just ended up frustrating me more than helping. The weight alone is a killer, especially when you're doing overhead work or crawling into weird spots. And the battery drain is real, I got maybe 25 crimps before it started slowing down. The ratcheting manual ones are just tried and true, they never quit on you. I'd say take that thing back and get your money back while you still can.
