My old boss swore you should never glue and screw drawer boxes, and after 12 years of doing it his way I finally get why
He ran a shop in Akron for 30 years and always said glue alone lets the box move with the seasons without a screw to crack it. I ignored him for years until I had 3 drawers split right at the screw holes last winter, so now I'm team glue only. Anybody else been through this or am I the only one who had to learn it the hard way?
