A drawer slide snapped right in the middle of a big install yesterday

I was putting in a full kitchen set for a house in Bend, and one of the heavy duty 22 inch slides just gave out. The client was watching, which made it even worse. I had to run to the local supplier and grab a new pair, which set me back about 40 bucks and two hours. It was a brand I've trusted for a while, so it really caught me off guard. Has anyone else had a slide fail like that on a new piece?

Honestly sounds like a fluke, I mean stuff just breaks sometimes. Maybe you got a bad batch or something.

Wouldn't be the first time my luck ran that way. At this point, I just assume I'm the common factor in all my tech disasters.
