Walked into a shop in Greeley and saw they label every primal with the kill date and farm name
Stopped by a small butcher shop in Greeley last week while visiting my brother and noticed something I don't see much back home. Every cut in the case had a little tag with the farm name, the kill date, and how long it was aged, right there on the paper. The owner said it cut his customer questions way down because people can just read it themselves. I've been thinking about trying it at my counter but I'm worried about the extra time on a busy Saturday. Has anyone here done date and farm labels on the case, and did it actually save you time or slow you down?
