Hit 1,000 pounds of trim in a single week and it changed my mind about efficiency
I always thought pushing for speed was the best way to get more done in the shop. But last week we processed 1,000 pounds of trim for grinding in five days. That forced us to slow down and organize the workflow better. Turns out grouping cuts by type saved way more time than just hustling faster. Has anyone else noticed that slowing down actually boosts your numbers?

Same thing happened at my place when we hit 800 pounds in a week last fall. Grouping the trim by fat content cut our grinding time almost in half, even though it felt like we were moving slower at first lol.

Did you find it helped with trimming too? We started sorting our trim into lean and fatty piles before grinding, and it cut our cleanup time way down even though the sorting itself felt slower.
