My sister asked why I label every day in pen, and her reason for asking kind of stuck with me
She was visiting last month and flipped through my journal, then asked why I write the date headers in pen instead of pencil. I said it was just habit from my first notebook back in 2019, and she said "so you can never fix a mistake on your own book?" That got me thinking because I had been redoing entire pages just to swap a Tuesday for a Wednesday. Last week I finally tried a cheap frixion pen for headers only, and I erased and moved a whole weekly spread in about 2 minutes with no smudges. My daily logs still stay in regular pen so they don't rub off in my bag, but the header swap saved me a lot of torn pages. Anyone else split their tools like this, or do you keep the whole journal in one kind of pen?
